Volunteers

You don't need to dance to be part of League City Ballet!

League City Ballet’s “family” extends beyond the stage and rehearsals to include our community of dedicated and generous volunteers, who are personally involved with the success of the Company.

Each volunteer is an important part of the success of League City Ballet. Volunteers help by:

  • Assisting at fundraisers and special events
  • Providing clerical support and help with LCB marketing distributions
  • Staffing LCB information tables at special events and performances
  • Assisting with prop building and costume sewing
  • Assisting backstage and in house during LCB performances

Volunteering at League City Ballet is an opportunity to be part of the exciting world of ballet, meet performers and supporters, and have fun!

Everyone can participate. Among our volunteers are teachers, students, doctors, lawyers, engineers, parents of LCB dancers, retired professionals and anyone with a love of the arts.

Volunteer opportunities exist throughout the calendar year, seven days a week, mornings, afternoons, and evenings, to meet the Company’s needs. Whether you have a few hours of the week or several a month, consider becoming an LCB volunteer and putting your own special skills and interest to use.
